Cover panel for BMW X1
This cover panel between the hood and the windshield of the BMW X1 screens the engine compartment from view without affecting the operation of the wipers and washer jets. An adequate cross-section area ensures satisfactory fresh-air intake. If pedestrians collide with the hood, the cover must deform in a precisely defined way. Adval Tech has developed this two-component plastic part and has been manufacturing it in volume since September 2009.
Valve sleeve
The valve sleeve acts as the connecting element between the fuel pipe and the injector in the gasoline engine. Thorough, in-depth technological know-how and the latest simulation techniques now enable Adval Tech to manufacture this product efficiently, inexpensively and in faultless quality by means of stamping and forming.
Separate components of steering columns
Together with leading automobile manufacturers we have developed ready-to-install solutions for steering systems. The steering column mountings are produced using a wide range of technologies, are infinitely adjustable and feature an integrated crash safety system.
Components for high-pressure fuel pumps
Adval Tech machines stainless steel to very close tolerances for these high-pressure pumps used for fuel injection. We have also participated in the development of a new stamping and forming alloy for high-end products made from stainless steel.
ABS components
The ABS components manufactured by Adval Tech also set very high standards for the production process. The required quality of the components produced is assured at all times, for example by means of salt spray tests. The components are then supplied in the required cleanliness class in packaging that is functional for the customer.
Seat components
Ergonomic requirements and rising expectations of comfort in automotive engineering call for first-rate seats. The side spars, armrests and hinges produced by Adval Tech are load-bearing components in automobile seat structures. We form the side spars (pictured here) in a stamping process – without any manual intervention.
Bulb holder
These lamp holders are completely assembled, tested and then delivered on a just-in-time basis by Adval Tech.
Airbag components
Adval Tech produces safety-relevant formed components and subassemblies in runs of millions. In the case of this combustion chamber a spring assembly is inserted and fixed in position after stamping and forming. The components are installed in a passenger-seat airbag.
Acoustic noise insulation/structural reinforcement
These two-component part produced by Adval Tech, consisting of a rigid polyamide base and an expandable thermoplastic element, is used for reliably sealingoff chassis noise in automobiles.
Fuel tank filler neck
This two-component tank filler neck is produced using a complex mold featuring seven hydraulic core pullers.
